Hey hey, my friend! I’ve got a bit of a personal one for you today, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d even have time to sit down and record this, but here I am, because I think that this message is so important.
So, life threw my family a major curveball recently. My husband— God bless him—tore his Achilles last week, and let me tell you, the recovery for that is no joke. I’m officially wearing ALL the hats right now: nurse, mom, wife, all around holiday magic maker, and oh yeah, business owner of 2 Etsy shops, a podcast, and Etsy Coach. It’s A LOT, especially during the holiday season, but here’s the thing—it’s also a reminder of why I am SO grateful for this business model I’ve built with Etsy and digital products.
Today, I want to talk about why passive income is an absolute game-changer, especially when life doesn’t go according to plan. Whether it’s taking a break for something like a vacation, for the holidays, or, in my case, stepping away to care for a family member on TOP of the holiday season, having a business that works for YOU —even when you’re not actively working—is such a gift.

I did something crazy - and I started a brand new digital product Etsy shop from scratch. I’m talking… from ground ZERO. And I’ve been working on this secretly behind the scenes because I really wanted to implement my strategy (again) from the very beginning and mirror exactly what my students are doing in my course. I can’t believe I’m talking about Black Friday right now! It’s crazy to think that it’s literally around the corner, maybe because yesterday was 80 degrees where I am and I think I’m most not looking forward to losing my little tan that is still hanging on by a thread… but tis the season my friends - it’s a comin’. And I always feel like Black Friday creeps up on us and we all expect these amazing deals - but the thing is, they weren’t just thrown together the week before. They are carefully thought about and prepared for and in this episode, we are doing just that.
